Crimp DesignCrimping is joining two pieces of metal or other malleable material by deforming one or both of them to hold the other. The bend or deformity is called the crimp. Crimping is most extensively used in metalworking. It is not generally used of specialised connectors that are designed to be deformed, but only of workpieces. The crimp attachment method provides the most consistent electrical and mechanical performance for flexible cabled connectors. This method is most preferred in manufacturing envoronments since the attachment can be made in the least amount of time with the greatest reliability. If well designed crimping tools are used, the attachment will be made consistently every time. However, the disadvantage of crimping is that the conector can not be re-used if reattachment is necessary. Chin Nan’s crimping connectors are manufactured in a variety of configurations for straigh & right angle version. The panel & bulkhead design is also available for choose. To match different cable’s size and specification, the crimping design connector with one pin & two pins design, also have 3 pieces & 4 pieces & 5 pieces design for choose. And the connector’s center conductor is either soldered or crimped to the center conductor of the cable. You can use crimping tool or make a press tool , then follow our shipping instruction to crimp the connector onto cable.
