Clamp DesignA clamp is a device that holds two things firmly together. It is preferred in coaxial connectors field installations since special tools are not required to make the attachment. This method can be very reliable if the clamp nut is tightened to the specified torque. The best advantage of clamping is that the connector can be re-used if reattachment is necessary, that is better than crimping design. However, it is not preferred in a manufacturing environment because of the extra time needed, that is not efficient than crimping design. Chin Nan’s clamping connectors are manufactured in a variety of configurations for straigh & right angle version. The panel & bulkhead design is also available for choose. To make different request, Chin Nan’s clamping center conductor is design either soldered or crimped to the center conductor of the cable. And the insulation with one piece and two pieces design.
