Just before Christmas 2022, Cha Tsu Tang’s hand wash was introduced into all restrooms and panty rooms in our company, by providing our employees with an environmentally responsible hand wash, we demonstrated our support for sustainable enterprise.

rPET Containers for Cleaning Products to Reduce Carbon Emission

Cha Tsu Tang provides various Taiwanese camellia seed oil products since 2004, their commitment to sustainability extends beyond their products.

In 2021, they started using 100% rPET bottles for their cleaning products. rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a material made from recycled plastic bottles. It is used as a raw material in various applications such as packaging, textiles, and consumer goods, due to its sustainability compared to virgin plastic.

By taking this approach, Cha Tsu Tang’s every every new bottle contains 44% less plastic, reducing 3,093 kg of original plastic and 7,031 kg of carbon emission.

Cha Tsu Tang Also Commits to Regional Revitalization

Their dedication to sustainability doesn’t end at eco-friendly production. They are also devoted to working closely with local farmers to implement contract farming to ensure non-toxic camellia seed from farmers is bought fairly and support aging farmer communities.

They also educate children and young generations about sustainable farming practices and bring in external resources to regenerate these communities. Cha Tsu Tang is leading the way in making positive changes that benefit not only the environment but also the people and communities.
