CHIN NAN 60th Anniversary | Launching a New Chapter in the Connector Ecosystem

CHIN NAN Precision Electronics celebrated its 60th anniversary at its Tainan headquarters in October 2025, bringing together over a hundred core supply-chain partners, industry collaborators, and media representatives.

With six decades of global experience, CHIN NAN unveiled its major transformation milestones—from OEM and ODM manufacturing to a brand-driven, service-focused model—and officially introduced its new role as the “orchestrator of the connector ecosystem.” This new position marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to elevate the industry’s global competitiveness for the decade ahead.

General Manager Hank Chen emphasized that a connector industry capable of facing global challenges must operate as a team without distance—built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose. Driven by this vision, CHIN NAN chose not to remain solely a manufacturer but to grow into a catalyst for collective innovation.

“Before today, the first sixty years belonged to CHIN NAN; from today onward, the future belongs to all of us in this ecosystem. I invite everyone to ‘connect the power to change.’” His message echoed a commitment to shared growth, creativity, and the pursuit of a more resilient industry landscape.

CHIN NAN highlighted more than 26 critical engineering technologies, including waterproof and hermetic sealing, quick-lock mechanical structures, and specialized anti-vibration coatings. These capabilities can be stacked or customized based on application needs, enabling diverse and flexible solutions for high-mix, low-volume, and reliability-driven engineering challenges.

In line with sustainability and compliance commitments, CHIN NAN adheres to international standards such as Conflict-Free Minerals, EU REACH SVHC, and RoHS 3.0, while implementing a fully traceable Product Management Ledger to shift risk assessment upstream and ensure quality is secured before manufacturing begins.

CHIN NAN has united more than 30 core supply-chain enterprises, working together to promote quality standardization, technology transparency, and production-line complementarity.

Through a two-month evaluation process, nine partner companies and seventeen supply-chain professionals were recognized for their excellence in collaboration, process adoption, and yield improvement. These awards symbolize not only performance recognition but also shared values and the long-term commitment to ecosystem growth.
