CHIN NAN's electrostatic oil mist collector featuring a 4-stage washable and reusable filtration system for sustainable manufacturing
Common methods of metal processing are cutting, turning, drilling and milling. In our industry, CNC machining is a subtractive manufacturing technology where a cutting tool, attached to a spinning spindle, removes the material from the workpiece to perform the desired machining operation. The high-speed spinning spindle comes in direct contact with the material, which generates a lot of heat around the cutting area. The cutting fluid provides the necessary heat dissipation and lubrication to ensure a smooth and efficient machining operation. Thus, cutting fluid oil mist contained undisclosed additives that are harmful to human health is inevitable everywhere in the factory.
Oil mist can coat the work environment creating an oily, slippery surface. Slippery floors, tools, and controls can be considered safety risks that could potentially lead a variety of work-related accidents, also fire hazard. People exposed under oil mist may have skin, respiratory system problems, even cancer.
Though oil mist suspended in the air can be invisible, we installed electro static oil mist collector in 2020 to process the hazardous air before emitting.
