    INTRODUCTION

    The SMP Straight Jack Crimp Connector is designed for RG174, RG316, RG188, and LMR100 cables. For optimal performance, we recommend soldering the center contact to the cable inner conductor and crimping the ferrule onto the cable for secure transmission and fixation.

    Operating at 50Ω impedance, this SMP connector covers a wide frequency range of 0-12 GHz, making it a versatile choice for various applications. VSWR of 1.25 max minimizes signal reflection, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.

    Precision-manufactured with brass and cobalt copper connector body, ensuring ruggedness and reliable signal transmission. Center contact is also manufactured from cobalt copper, enhancing conductivity and overall performance. The insulation material used is PTFE, known for its excellent electrical characteristics.

    Maximum insertion loss of 0.35 dB at 6 GHz ensures high-fidelity signal transmission. This connector features 335V rms voltage rating at sea level with 500V rms dielectric withstanding voltage, ensuring robust electrical integrity.

    Durably designed, this SMP connector passes 500 cycle testing, ensuring consistent performance over extended periods. Minimum cable retention of 15 lbs ensures secure cable fixation, while minimum center retention of 1.5 lbs with axial force reinforces stability.

    Featuring excellent 220W power handling capability, this SMP Straight Jack Crimp Connector is ideal for high-power applications. Operating seamlessly across temperatures from -65°C to 165°C ensures reliability even under harsh environmental conditions.
