    INTRODUCTION

    The SMP Straight Jack Solder Connector is designed specifically for RG405/U (.085") cables, ensuring reliable and efficient connections.

    Achieving high-frequency performance across a wide frequency range of 0-40 GHz, suitable for various applications. Featuring VSWR of 1.2 max at 26.5 GHz and 1.5 max at 40 GHz, this connector ensures minimal signal attenuation and optimal transmission quality.

    Installation is straightforward—simply solder the center contact to the cable inner conductor, then solder the body onto the cable for secure and stable connections. The SMP Straight Jack Solder provides convenience without compromising performance.

    Safety is a primary consideration, featuring 335V rms working voltage at sea level and 500V rms dielectric withstanding voltage at sea level, ensuring reliability under various conditions.

    Maintaining excellent electrical characteristics, the SMP connector features 5000 Megohms min insulation resistance and contact resistance specifications with center contact at 6.0 milliohms max and outer contact at 2.0 milliohms max.

    Featuring 220W power handling capability, ideal for moderate power requirement applications. Through 500 mating cycle testing, ensuring lasting and robust use.

    For added strength, the SMP Straight Jack Solder features 30 lbs min cable retention, providing stability and security. Center contact retention requires minimum 1.5 lbs axial force, ensuring tight connections.

    Connector body and center contact are both manufactured from beryllium copper, providing superior conductivity and durability. PTFE insulation ensures longevity and reliability under various harsh environments.

    Operating stably across temperatures from -65°C to 165°C. This connector has passed MIL-STD-202 Method 204 Condition D vibration testing and MIL-STD-202 Method 101 Condition B salt spray testing.
