    INTRODUCTION

    The SSMB Straight Jack Crimp Connector for RG174, RG316, RG188, and LMR100 cables is precision-designed for RF applications. This connector, compatible with RG174U, RG316U, RG188, and LMR100 cables, offers optimal signal integrity through its reliable crimp connection method.

    Operating at 50Ω impedance, this connector covers a frequency range of 0-12.4 GHz, ideal for diverse high-frequency applications. VSWR of 1.3 max at 6 GHz ensures efficient signal transmission, while low insertion loss of 0.3 dB at 4 GHz minimizes signal attenuation.

    Connector body is manufactured from rugged stainless steel and beryllium copper with beryllium copper center contact, ensuring ruggedness and superior conductivity. PTFE insulation enhances electrical isolation performance in demanding environments.

    Rated at 250V rms at sea level with 500V rms dielectric withstanding voltage, maintaining consistent electrical performance. Insulation resistance of 1000 Megohms further enhances long-term reliability.

    Maintaining low contact resistance is critical—this SSMB connector excels with center contact resistance of 7.0 milliohms max and outer contact resistance of 3.0 milliohms max. Its 125W power handling capability makes it suitable for various applications.

    This SSMB connector is tested through 500 mating cycles. Cable retention of 15 lbs and center contact retention of 1 lb ensure secure connections in dynamic environments.

    Operating seamlessly across temperatures from -65°C to 165°C, suitable for diverse environmental conditions. Compliant with stringent quality standards including MIL-STD-202 Method 204 Test Condition B for vibration and MIL-STD-202 Method 101 Test Condition B for salt spray testing.
